In Their Words

Dear Connie, I found out that the computers make my work easy. The things that I don't find easy, I come to the computers to find them. But sometimes the computer doesn't have what I want. In my class of Standard 6, there are 29 students. I found out that Std. 6 is no joke. Our teacher, Miss Diane Teul, gives us a lot of work to do. Sometimes she gives us projects. Next week we are going to have another project coming up. This is the plant kingdom. We are to make a booklet out of it. In March we are going to take our first P.S.E exam. Connie, I am so happy for you of bringing these computers to this village of San Pedro Columbia. If there were no computers it would be hard for me to do my homework. Thanks. John Ack, 13

My name is Alejandra Cho. I have three young children. I didn't have any opportunity to go to high school. I want to have a little progress in my life, so I am very happy that the computers came to Columbia. Right now, I am learning how to type and I am taking Connie's computer course. I like computers! Thank you very much. Alejandra Cho, 22

Dear Miss Connie, I like you because you are so kind and you love me. The country that you come from is too rich, and I like you because you brought the computers to our village. You help the students doing their homework. Every Sunday you show a movie. I like to come to the computers because I like to play games and typing. Vanicia Teul, 11

I love to come to the computers because I love to play and type. We laugh at Miss Connie when she makes jokes with us every day. When it is Sunday, we watch a movie. Miss Connie is my friend and she has many CD games for us to play. We help her do her work. When Miss Connie goes home, we go home too. When she comes back, we make jokes with her again. Abelino Shol, 10
